.... The Creature From The Black Lagoon (1954,black & white, 3-D, Universal International), said to be inspired by the "2nd" coelacanth discovered in the Comoros in 1953. Followed by "Revenge of the Creature" (1955) and "The Creature Walks Among Us" (1956) Directed by Jack Arnold, the films featured Ricou Browning in the creature suit, and Julie Adams as the creature's original love interest!
